A pet-friendly cottage within 0.5 miles of the bustling harbour town’s seafront, one of the most popular water sports destinations in the whole of Cardigan Bay. With its outdoor kitchen, wood-fired pizza oven and home-grown herb garden, this homely cottage is perfect for lovers of al fresco dining in comfortable surroundings.
Each of the cottage’s spacious rooms has been tastefully furnished, with plenty to occupy guests of all ages in and around its four walls. The bright living room/diner is ready for your lazy brunches, film nights or window seat chats that last well into the wee small hours. The galley kitchen will pump out endless fantastic food and there’s still enough room on the ground floor for a utility cupboard and a shower room. There is plenty of storage in the king-size bedroom and the double bedroom upstairs. The outside space is something else: there’s the small lawned area surrounded by gravel paths and attractive shrubbery, with a covered area containing a hot tub just beyond. Sit out and enjoy food from the outdoor kitchen area, which includes everything from a BBQ and a wood-fired pizza oven to a prep area and your own herb garden.
The colourful Georgian town of Aberaeron (0.5 miles) brims with independent stores, art galleries, two children’s parks and walks along the River Aeron. It is also a hugely popular water sports destination. You can pick up the Wales Coastal Path here or, to experience Cardigan Bay from a different perspective, head to New Quay (7.5 miles) for a boat trip, keeping an eye out for bottlenose dolphins along the way.
