Written by Flagship Holiday Homes Team on

With an amazing choice of top class luxury hotels and tea rooms across Snowdonia and North Wales, we have listed a few of our favourites for a scrumptious Afternoon Tea treat:

Welsh Food Centre

The Furnace Tea Room at Welsh Food Centre just by Bodnant Gardens has a farm shop, wine shop, tea room with huge cakes and Hayloft Restaurant; afternoon tea is served on a vintage tiered platter and includes a tea of coffee, fabulous.

Tu Hwnt I’r Bon Tearoom

This award winning tearoom is situated on the west bank of the River Conwy in the picturesque market town of Llanrwst, gateway to Snowdonia. Excellent cream teas, traditional Bara Brith, home made cakes and lunches.

Bodysgallen Hall

Standing in over 200 acres of its own parkland to the south of Llandudno with spectacular views of Snowdonia & Conway Castle, provides all that is best in country house hospitality. Super gardens and one of the Top Ten Afternoon Teas in the UK voted by The Times.

Pale Hall Hotel

Y Pantri, Llanberis

Top Coffee Shop in North Wales nominated at the top coffee shop in North Wales by Daily Post readers in 2014, lots of home made cakes.

T H Roberts Dolgellau

Originally an ironmonger’s shop, this characterful cafe is popular with locals and visitors alike, the service is friendly no set afternoon tea but the cakes are huge and tasty, we can particularly recommend the banoffi pie and lemon drizzle cake. Wifi as well. Happy days !
