This stunning luxury accommodation near Aberdyfi has been renovated to the highest level and is presented to a very high standard with many quality touches. The apartment enjoys simply stunning views over the Dyfi estuary. The nearest beach at Aberdovey is only 3 miles away.

Perched on the hillside just outside Aberdyfi, The Old Stables is a unique collection of five luxuriously appointed apartments in what was originally the Stable Block of the Plas Panteidal Estate. There is a private parking area accessed via electrically operated main gates with two reserved spaces for guests at Apartment 6. There is underfloor heating throughout the apartment, free WiFi (please note the broadband here can be slow and is really only suitable for emails and basic browsing) and the water comes from the area's own deep water spring, which is then UV filtered to provide a sparklingly pure source for drinking and bathing.

Apartment 6 enjoys spacious, open plan living comprising a luxury kitchen, lounge and dining area, all designed to make the most of the fabulous panoramic views over the estuary. The lounge has a very large curved sofa in luxurious cream leather and matching footstool. The dining table is solid oak and glass and seats four. There is a large flatscreen TV with Freeview, a DVD player and separate CD system. The cream gloss kitchen is equipped with a double oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer. There are two bedrooms - one with a kingsize double bed and private door onto the terrace, and a twin - and a luxury shower room with electric shower, toilet and oak vanity unit with basin.

The apartment is approached by slate steps down a terraced path that leads onto a large south facing hardwood decked terrace, which wraps around the whole front of the apartment. It is over 50 feet long and very private - perfect to watch the ever-changing vista of nature and wildlife. The apartment has binoculars and a wildlife diary so guests can record what they see - ospreys, otters and eagles get a mention. An all-weather wicker furniture set seating up to four people is provided, two reclining chairs, and a gas barbecue. The balcony is accessed from the lounge and from double doors from the master bedroom.

LOCAL AREA
The Old Stables is an ideal retreat to get away from it all but it also provides the perfect base for a full range of outdoor activities available locally. In addition to the beach and water sport activities, such as sailing, yachting, rowing, canoeing and fishing, there is a championship golf course in Aberdovey and all manner of inland activities such as walking, hiking, cycling and climbing and many more associated with Snowdonia National Park.

A taxi service from Aberdovey operates two 8-seater minibuses. The fare each way is currently £9.50 per minibus each way.
